About Amanda PDChyp DHyp MBSCH

Amanda Wilson is a practising hypnotherapist with clinics in Harrow and Central London. She was a lecturer for the London College of Clinical Hypnosis before moving on and setting up Comedy4Change. She still tutors for the LCCH and also serves on the executive committee of the British Society of Clinical Hypnosis. She also trains for media companies corporately.

It was through her work teaching varying sizes of groups and working with clients individually that she realised the power of humour and laughter to really help people shift. Amanda always had a lifelong interest in Comedy and does stand up gigs in her spare time as a hobby. After receiving a lot of positive feedback from people in her classes and training about the way the humour helped them remember things (not to mention stopped them falling asleep !) it seemed a natural progression to make it official and merge together her two passions - therapy with humour. Hence the name Comedy4Change.

Amanda had two children, Jordan and Sarah and understands the demands of juggling ! At home for 5 years before deciding to go to work, she has experienced the demands of running a household as well as being a working mum and has concluded .... ? You're damned if you do, you're damned if you don't !

Her philosophy (one of her many !) is take what you do seriously but not yourself !
